I am so very sad to see this. She was my 4th Grade Language Arts Teacher at Francis A. March School. She wasn’t married then and had long blonde beautiful hair, in the picture with her shorter hair she didn’t change much, still beautiful like I remember her. And she also had a pet rabbit that used to hop all over the class room. My Sympathies to her husband & extend family.

Joe and Judy,
My deepest condolences on the passing of Janet. We had been out of contact for years and our friendship goes back to College Hill days.
Her love of cats was intertwined with mine. She saved many cats from shelters.
May her memories be a blessing.

Jim had the pleasure of growing up with Jan. The three of us attended Moravian College together. Jan always had a wonderful smile and contagious laugh. If Jan was there you know you would have fun! She will definitely be missed.

Mr. Panto,
I was so saddened to hear of Mrs. Panto’s passing. She was my 6th grade ELA teacher at EAMS…and remained one of my favorites all throughout school. She made me feel like the most special student she ever had (I’m sure she made all of her students feel that way😉), but I truly appreciated it then, and do now, more than ever, now that I am a teacher and a mom. I never forgot how wonderful she was. She will be greatly missed by many, and will remain a bright light in my own memories.

Jim and I are so sorry for your loss. I go way back with Jan she was so kind and just a beautiful person in and out. When I was little I wanted to be just like her as far as wanting to change my name to Janet and have blonde hair just like her. She will be missed. Treasure the memories you have as they will bring comfort to you.
