William C. Girgan, 74, of Palmer Township, died Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in ProMedica Nursing Center. Born July 29, 1947 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Jack H. and Susan (Able) Girgan. He worked at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown; Flock Industries; Avante, Easton; and Lipton Tea, Flemington, NJ. He attended Churchman Business School and Northampton Community College. He was a member of American Legion, Post #611 and he loved all animals.
Surviving is his good friend, Lawrence Quirk of Bethlehem. His brother, Jack Girgan, died earlier.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Washington Cemetery, 14 Cemetery Hill Road, Washington, NJ. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements. Bill was a lifelong friend. Known each other since 1970…Always kept in touch, n o matter what…..I only wish his good friend Larry Quirk would have notified me as Bill had asked him to….I just found out today…1 month later…Just not right ….I will miss you Bill…we always laughed no matter what!
