Anne M. Smith, 89, of Palmer Township, died Monday, December 11, 2017.
Born April 21, 1928 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late James and Vilma (Kiscka) Papics. Her husband, Harold E. Smith died in 1995.
She and her husband co-founded Fernwood Transformer, Belvidere, NJ, where she was the Vice President. She was also a member of the Pomfret Club, Easton.
Surviving are two daughters, Brooke A. Finken and Jody L. Vaughn; a son, Greg R. Smith; two grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. Her brothers, Michael Darabond, James Papics and Steven Papics and her sister, Margaret Anderson, died earlier.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time on Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.

I was so sad to hear about your Mom..She was such a wonderful and caring woman..I will remember you bringing her into the Flower Cart admiring the silk arrangements and she never left empty handed.. I will never forget her..Please remember the happy times with her through out her life to help you get through this difficult time..

Dear Brooke,
It was very sad to hear of your Mom’s passing.
Please accept our condolences and will be remembering her in our prayers. She was a very sincere and honest person. I have very fond memories dealing with both her and your Dad and will miss her. She was a great person. This I will always treasure.
Always remember the good things she has done and keep those in your heart.
