My husband Steve joins me in sending our deepest sympathy to Nettie’s/John’s family. I worked with Nettie at Mack Printing and enjoyed attending Merri-Mack functions with her many years after we both left Mack. My husband played ball in the 55+ league with John, so we both had a connection to the Gottfried family. Both wonderful folks — we’ll miss them.

I am so sorry to hear of Netty’s passing. She and John were such good neighbors to my son and his family. It was as though God had them all ready to help , encourage and love that little family from the time they moved in next door. They served as older family would have for those of us who lived far away. I will always be grateful for the warm hospitality they offered. I send love and condolences to the family and her dear friends. Judy McGloughlin
