Well, it has been one year since my dad died, and I wanted to write a comment.
There are many things to say, but I will keep it brief. My dad was a loving father and always made sure we had a great vacation at Wildwood Crest, NJ every summer while we were kids. He saw that I had a technical ability and taught me to have fun taking things apart and to try to fix everything myself. He loved animals and rescued many cats where ever he lived. He wasn’t afraid to cry in front of us when one of our pets died, and always built a casket to bury them in. He had a rough time after our mom died and missed her very much.
Also, one correction to his obituary : I found a copy of his birth certificate in with some old photos, and he was born in the Bronx, like he always said.
His family misses him very much.
