I enjoyed visiting Barbara when she was a resident of Lakeside at Willow Valley. As a very private person, she was reluctant to tell me much about her life, but she shared enough for me to know that she had worked long hours over many years for firms in Manhattan and traveled all over the world as part of that work. Her little dog Lexi, whose picture decorated her wall at Lakeside, represented family to her in the last months of her life. I found Barbara to be a very interesting person, and I miss visiting her.
