Barry E. Kresge

Barry E. Kresge, 82, of Palmer Township, died Thursday, March 27, 2025 in Gracedale.  Born November 16, 1942 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Elbert and Dorothy (Hilbert) Kresge.  He and his wife, Elizabeth “Betty” (Dimovitz) Kresge were married 63 years.  Barry was a machinist at Ingersoll-Rand, Phillipsburg for 36 years and retired in 2000.  He graduated from Nazareth High School in 1960 and served in the US Navy.  He was a 50-year member of the Forks of the Delaware Archeology Society, Chapter 14 and a member of the Society for Pennsylvania Archeology where he received the Archey Award.  Barry was also and avid coin collector and Indian artifact collector.

Surviving with his wife, Betty, are a son, Barry R. Kresge and his wife Laura of Palmer Township; a brother, David Kresge and his wife Judy of Nazareth; two grandchildren, Todd and his wife Kelly and Kelly and her fiancé Shane ; two great grandchildren, Olivia and Caroline and his best friend Milton.

Services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday (April 1, 2025) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton.  A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.  Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.
