To my Pop Pop…..You were everything. My best friend, my best man, my grandfather, and father figure. I cherish every moment we had together and reflect daily on the great times. You taught me so much and still to this day, continue to teach. Thank you for being such a wonderful Pop Pop. We love and miss you so much. You may be gone, but never forgotten. Till we meet again…….Godspeed.

My condolences to all the family. Charlie was truly one of those people that impacted everyone he met. He will be truly missed. I’ll always remember visits to see him and Gram and how he tried to teach me pinochle at the Hill. Usually we gave up and would just sit and drink the blackberry brandy. Haha….good times!
We will miss you! Love and peace….

    To all the Orth family
I worked for Charlie and Martha in my senior year at high school and still remember my time with them fondly. They were gentle, kind, and considerate people. I am 73 years old and, in my whole working life, I only had one other employer that impacted me like Charlie did.
Reading the outline of his life makes me happy that he had a full life with lots of loving family around him. I don’t know anybody who deserves that kind of life more than he did.
