As a lunch table regular, Charlie’s telling of stories and recounting of details from favorite and sometimes obscure television programs brought frequent good cheer and laughter at the mid-day break. As a business colleague, Charlie was sincere, straight-forward and reasonable. I shall miss him both as a friend and a colleague.

My sincere condolences to Jo-Ann and all of Charlie’s family. May the grief you feel now, soon turn to healing and peace.

I only had the privilege of knowing Charlie at B. Braun for a few years but it seemed like decades. He was such a nice and intelligent man. As a plastics engineer he was very supportive, smart, and easy to talk to about anything related to injection molding and tooling. Or anything else for that matter. He was a breath of fresh air for me. Hearing of his passing took the wind out of me. He was a great man.

Yes, Rest in Peace Charlie. You will be missed by all. It was great to have had the opportunity to have met you while you were here with us. Thank you.

With a heavy heart, I’ll miss you.

I knew Charlie since he was 13. We went to Prep together. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He was a fine swimmer and a great teammate, a quality I am sure he carried through the remainder of his life. My heart goes out to his family. He was a wonderful person.

I am sorry to have just learned belatedly of Charlie Devereux passing. I am shocked. Charlie was always so fit. Charlie and I were swimmers at Scranton Prep. I remember how He emerged as a champion sprinter almost overnight junior year. Charle was a class act. It was nice to read the good thoughts he engendered among his friends and coworkers. His parents raised a great person. My sincerest condolences to his wife and family. Best, Mike Foley Scranton Prep Class of 1976.
