Cindy L. Messinger

Cindy L. Messinger, 54, of Plainfield Township, died Wednesday, July 17, 2019 in her home. Born July 18, 1964 in Honesdale, PA, she was a daughter of Wendall and Joyce (Dunn) Sampson. She and her husband, Bruce W. Messinger, were married 25 years.

Cindy graduated from Kutztown University and worked at Health Network Laboratories, Allentown.

Surviving with her husband and parents are her children, Emily Messinger and Benjamin Messinger; brother, Glenn Sampson and his wife, Deneen; and sister, Audrey Neer and her husband, Claud.

Services will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, July 20, 2019 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 6:30 pm on Friday in the funeral home and from 10:30 – 11:30 am on Saturday. Interment will be in Wind Gap Cemetery.

    Cindy you will be always remembered for the sweet and lovable person you were and such a Godsend of a wonderful Mother and wife.Your flowers that you planted every year were as beautiful as you. We hold you in our hearts forever and even though God took you away early in life just means he needed you in heaven. I hope your dancing in glory with our lord and i know without a doubt you will always be watching over your family here on earth.I just want to say that thank you for being such a awesome sister in law and so sadly missed.

    Cindy you will always be in our hearts forever. We will miss you. You had a heart of gold. I will always remember the good times we’ve had. The Lord has taken you from us to soon. The suffering has stopped and God has greeted you with open arms for the caring person you are. You will be sadly missed by your family, but will never be forgotten.
