Caroline, I’m so sad for you and your family at the loss of your sister. She seems from her obituary to have been such an unusually talented person and much too young to have to have suffered with this disease. Sending special love to you at this time,
    Aunt Paula

It’s hard to put into words what I’m feeling over the loss of such a caring person. We were partners together in the NYPD. It was an honor to ride with you as we served the people of New York City. You were dedicated, loyal, empathetic and full of positive energy as you patrolled the city of New York. Through the years you touched the hearts of all you encountered. You will be missed. Thank you for being my partner and my friend.

Claudia was the bravest soul I’ve ever known. Brave not just for her work as a NYPD police officer, Claudia was brave way before that. As a single divorced mother, Claudia was brave during the hard years of making a life for herself and Carly with not one ounce of self-pity or complaint. Claudia was extremely brave in facing the devastating disease that claimed her body. Thanks be to God who gave her a living partner who made certain that her last years were as comfortable as possible as well as covered in dignity and love abounding. Peace is now yours. We all celebrate your life among us.
