
Connie Phillips Shipwash, 52, of Easton, PA died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at home.
Born: May 29, 1961 in Columbus, MS she was a daughter of Cleveland Oneil and Lizzie Philips both of Columbus.
Personal: She was a crossing guard for the Easton Area School District for the past 2 years and volunteered at the Hidden Treasures Boutique.
Memberships: She was a member of several local American Legions Posts.
Survivors: Her parents; daughter: April Phillips with whom she resided; son: Maurice Phillips-Krutsick and his wife Allison of West Easton; brother: Ellis Phillips and his wife Christine of Easton; sister: Joanne Burden-Dunlap and her husband Daniel of Milwaukee, WS; 6 grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter: Niesha Phillips-Krutsick and a granddaughter.
Services: 11 AM Friday (Mar. 28) in the Greater Shiloh Church of Easton Chapel, 201 Brother Thomas Bright St., Easton with visitation from 10 to 11 AM in the church; the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements. Interment will be in Hays Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions: May be made to the family c/o the funeral home.

A sweet angel gone home to be with the Lord. Ms Connie was always smiling and happy. We all will miss her and her smile. My prayers go out to April and the entire family. For a work well done RIP.

i knew Connie since i was a little girl she used to baby sit me whn i was little she was real good friends of my sister but she was she was like family to my family connie will be dearly missed an never forgotten

I go to the Legion Post in Easton, where I met Connie. Always friendly and kind,she was busy serving up big portions of food.My friends and I were shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. She will be missed!!! RIP
