My condolences to David’s family and those who were real close to him. My family comes from Massachusetts to Easton every year for Thanksgiving. One of the things I cherish the most at the “BLACK FRIDAY DIME SHOOT” is when Reify as I knew him, recited GUNGA DIN. Rest in peace Reify.

The Reifsnyders are surrounded by love. Dave will be missed forever, for his kindness, enormous heart and his sense of humor (that laugh!) I’ll miss sitting and talking with him and dancing alongside him during gatherings of friends. Love you forever, Dave and his entire beautiful family.

As part of the generation that raised ‘college hill kids’, I am saddened by David’s death. Amid the playing of bridge, we mothers shared the delights and woes of our children. The Browns, the Reifsnyders, the Pfretchners, the Nobletts, the Popes, etc., etc., watched the maturing of them into fine adults. It is difficult to believe any one of them is old enough to ‘pass away’.
May all of David’s family be comforted by memories of happily shared times.
I am coming in from out of town on Friday and will not be able to be with you at the memorial service.
    Sincerely,
    Vivian Noblett

My sympathy to family and all who knew Reify. He was a great friend, father husband and just person. He attended many of our families pig roasts and dime shoots at my parents home and always seemed to make the day better just by being there. He will be missed but always remembered. He was one of the good guys.

My condolences to David’s family and friends. I’m proud to have known David for most of my life. While I didn’t get to see him as often as I would have liked, I consider myself blessed to call him my friend. He will always have a place in my heart. I take comfort in the thought that we will meet again.
