Rest in peace pop pop. You were a very strong man who loved his family very much and raised your sons in to very accomplished and respectably men. You gave my father and his brothers the tools and discipline they needed to raise your grandchildren to be the same I am very thankful for that. You served our country in WWII and although you very rarely spoke of it I am sure the things you endured durring that time made you the strong man you needed to be to raise 5 boys and be there for all of your 8 grandchildren. I know the past few years were not easy for you as they were hard for your family to see you suffer but you always stayed strong you will be greatly missed always.
Love,
Mark

Aunt Margaret, Dale, Michael, Ken, Charles, John and families,
My condolences on your loss of a husband and father.
The memories keep flooding back of the days when we met, not often enough, but enough to create a bond since we live on different coasts. I do remember the times up in Michigan, Easton and the summer home. I always felt like part of the family, and was always treated as such on my travels back to Easton. I am sorry I cannot make the trip this time, but want to know that I enjoyed and cared for Uncle David immensely. I learned a lot from him, from his opinions, to political philosophies, to just talking about life in general. I have always marveled about how close your family is and are all together and able to take care of each other. My thoughts are with you at this time and always.
