Diane was a sweet, funny, happy soul! When we would spend summers with my grandparents home on the Jersey shore every summer, Diane was my bunk mate. We were the closest in age, and I loved seeing her every summer. I spoke to her on July 21st, when she accidently “butt-dialed” my Mom. My mom handed me the phone, and we talked for over an hour. She wanted all the cousins to get together for a reunion. We laughed about playing “spoons”, going downtown Stone harbor at night, walking the beach and ping pong tournaments. She texted me a picture of her via her phone. I did the same. She texted me when I got back to Texas, and knew I was starting school, and wished me a good 1st day. She had a HUGE heart. I will miss you Diane. Love, your cuz, Jan

There was always a “spring” in her voice as she spoke. It was like every sentence jumped with some little bounce. Even when she was upset there was something joyful in her voice. We will miss her deeply. Our condolences go to AJ in this time of great sadness. We join you in mourning this loss.

To all my cousins and Aunt Elaine and Uncle Don, Diane will be truly missed. I loved seeing her at the shore when all six of us girls did everything together. One of the things I remember most is all of us taking our walk on the beach at night. Those are the memories I will cherish, of all of us being together and laughing the entire time we were together. May God comfort all of you in this time.

To My Dearest Uncle Artie, I will always remember Diane’s smile and hugs and her love for my children as she played with them when we gathered for the holidays or weekend picnics. Robert and Colin never had to convince her to play Wii, Badminton, color or any other activities that they asked her to join in.
Diane was always so positive and strong no matter what life brought her.
Diane will be greatly missed. We love you and are always here for you. Love, Janene, Robert, & Colin

Dear AJ and family members of Diane,

We had the pleasure of knowing Diane as the loving wife and companion of AJ. Her kind and generous nature was exemplary and contagious. She always had a smile and exuded a glowing spirit. She represented the very best in all of us as a woman who was appreciative for the gifts she was given and as one who gave without thought of self. She was especially kind, warm and patient with children. It was a pleasure to know her and she made the world around her a better place. As you grieve her loss, we hope that you will carry the strength of her character, her ever positive outlook, and her goodness with you so that it may give you comfort.
