
Dolores I. West, 93, of Palmer Township, died Tuesday, December 24, 2024 in Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital. Born September 15, 1931 in Butztown, she was the daughter of the late Walter F. and Irene J. (Paulus) Dornblaser. Her husband, Richard T. West died in 1999. Dolores worked at Bon-Ton, Palmer Township, until retiring in 1993. Prior to that she worked at Straup’s Pharmacy and Magnetic Windings. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Easton. She was the treasurer for several Easton Area School District PTA’s and was a member of AARP.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra Hockin and Robyn Van Norman; a son, Gary West; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Walter Dornblaser, Jr. and a sister, Carolyn Lucykanish.
Services will be private with interment in Northampton Memorial Shrine. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital – Nursing Education Fund. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.
