Dorothy J. Pfeffer, 87, of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in St. Luke’s Hospital.
Born: January 5, 1926 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late John and Fannie (Egan) Madison.
Personal: Her husband, Lester E. “Pete” Pfeffer died in 1992. She worked at the Hunterdon Developmental Center.
Memberships: Dorothy was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Bethlehem.
Survivors: two daughters, Janet M. Bronico and her husband, John of Albrightsville, PA and Nancy J. Pfeffer of Andover, NJ; a brother, James Madison; a sister, Evelyn Mader; four grandchildren, Mary-Katherine, Barbara, Brian, and Christopher; seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren. A brother, Jack Madison, a sister, Frances Vogel, and a great granddaughter died earlier.
