    Dear Chris and family:
I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Miller. In my 44 years, I have never met such a great man and an awesome boss. I enjoyed working for him and considered you and Dr. Miller like my surrogate grandparents. You both had such a profound influence on my life and I will be forever grateful for that experience. We were a “family” in the office and had lots of good memories. Dr. Miller’s sense of humor always made me smile and it never mattered how many times I heard that joke, it was still funny. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all in the coming days and Heaven has welcomed another guardian angel to watch over us.
    Love,
    Janet Murphy

I was saddened to learn of the news about Dr. Miller. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with him quite closely through the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners (NERB). I always enjoyed the times we spent at the University of Connecticut dental examinations since we met 5 years ago and most recently this February. He always had a joke, kept everyone at ease and will be sorely missed by his NERB colleagues. I am certain that he will also keep everyone in heaven laughing! My sincere condolences and prayers go out to his family.

    With much sadness and respect,

    Dr. Robert (Bob) Sherman
