Edwin W. Force, 81 of Bethlehem, PA died Saturday, September 16, 2017 at home. Born November 2, 1935 in Bethlehem Twp., PA he was a son of the late Edwin A. and Arlene (Dornblaser) Force. He and his wife Nancy (Weaver) were married 60 years. He was a 1954 graduate of Wilson High School and member of their football team. He served in the US Air Force for 20 years, then worked at Lehigh University for 27 years before retiring. He was of the Lutheran faith.
He is survived by his wife: Nancy; daughter: Cheri Reiser of Davenport, FL; sons: Edwin Force, II and his wife Denise of Hanover Twp., PA, Kenneth Force and his wife Alison of Nazareth, PA; a sister: Barbara Van Billiard; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services are private; the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements. Interment will be in Hellertown Union Cemetery.
