Sue and I have been reeling for two days after learning of Eric’s passing. He was always so benevolent, intelligent, and optimistic in everything he did and an absolute pleasure to be around. A fellow engineer I respected greatly and still do. A great neighbor, friend, fellow Forks/Easton parent and a boon to everything and everyone he touched. We regret not being in close touch the past several years but the loss is fully shared nonetheless. May he enjoy eternal life.

We first met Eric and Marjorie in July 2013 at a Look Off in Nova Scotia. We immediately felt their warmth and spirit and they generously invited us to stay with them at their home. We arrived in August and were made to feel like part of the family. Eric had such a great outlook on life and an adventurous spirit.
He always said he wanted to bring Marjorie to Australia and we looked forward to hosting them. This invitation is still open and would love to host any of his family.
We will miss his insightful emails full of his wisdom and bright outlook.
Julie and I are so glade we had that chance meeting and to have known such a great man.

Eric and I met during our first week of Freshman year at Drexel. We were both from southern NJ (I was from Somerdale and he was from Haddon Heights if I remember correctly which was not that far away). We did a handful of projects, some with the help of Eric’s Dad (who was an extremely talented craftsman), at Eric’s home during and after college. His son Zach worked with me for a brief spell (as an intern I think) and that was a joy as I saw so much of Eric in Zach. There were so many great stories from back then (almost 40 years ago now). He will be missed. My sincerest condolences to the family.
