Genoveva “Genny” Leiser

Genoveva “Genny” Leiser, 90, of Plainfield Township, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in her home. Born January 24, 1931 in Sinaia, Romania, she was a daughter of Maria Brinzea. Her husband, Donald W. Leiser died in 2006.

Genny was an avid bowler and golfer and won many trophies at Sawmill Golf Course. She also enjoyed traveling the world and she assisted her husband with the family business, Leiser’s Rental.

Surviving are her companion, William Toth; three children, Robert Leiser and his wife, Barbara, Michael Leiser and his wife, Marlene, and Sandra Walter and her husband, Ken; four grandchildren, Richard and his wife, Meghan, Robert and his wife, Emily, Rachel, and Angie and her husband, Travis; and five great grandchildren, Ava, Mia, Ali, Luca, and Lilly. Her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Elio “Chuck” Uliana died earlier.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.

    My Mother, Loretta Moats, along with Barbara Smith, played golf with Genny. My Mom speaks of her often, and greatly missed her company. I would like to pass along condolences from both Loretta and Barbara. You and your family are in our prayers, we are very sorry for your loss.
