Mrs Wood and family – I worked with Geo at Inofast until he retired. I also knew Geo from his IR/CW days. I am very sorry for your loss.
My son Mike also worked closely with Geo here at Inofast. Geo was so patient with my son teaching him something new everyday. I know my son will be very sorry to hear about Geo.
Please accept our condolences – Rich & Mike Oldham

Mrs. Wood and family,
I worked with George my whole career at I-R. He was a great man to work with and for. Thank you for sharing him with us.
Admiral Wood, may the Grand Architect give you smooth seas and the wind at your back on your journey home.

I first met George on my interview day with Ingersoll-Rand.
He came into the office upset that the shop was trying to “build a pump backwards.” Then he turned his attention me and was warm, patient & understanding. He treated me that way everyday we worked together. And he was always willing to take time to share his vast knowledge.
I am truly honored to have known him & offer my deepest condolences on his passing.

I had the honor of working with George for many years at IR in Phillipsburg. George was held in very high regard by those who worked for and with him. He is one engineer who made a difference and was a leader in the team that made IR so successful. Peace be with you, it was my privilege to know and work with you.
