George Rupple, 67, formerly of Easton, died Thursday, March 21, 2013 in Easton Hospital.
Born: November 29, 1945 in Wilson Borough, he was a son of the late Everitt and Anna (Amato) Rupple.
Personal: He and his wife, the former Barbara J. Dowling were married 18 years. He worked for Lafayette College until retiring in 2008 and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Memberships: George was a member of First Lutheran Church, Stewartsville where he served on Church Council and he was a member of Citizen’s Hose Co., Easton.
Survivors: wife, Barbara; son, George E. Rupple of Easton; daughter, Sharon Marie Rupple of Easton; step-daughter, Amanda Turille of Omaha, NE; 2 brothers, Joe Amato and Phil Amato; 2 sisters, Bea Guadagnino and Pattie Romano, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Services: 2:30 pm Tuesday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. Call from 1:30 pm until service time Tuesday in the funeral home.
Memorials: American Heart Association, 212 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, Pa 18018.
