Harold A. Frankenfield, 90 of Easton, PA died Monday, November 12, 2018 at New Eastwood Care Center. Born December 1, 1927 in Phillipsburg, NJ he was a son of the late Beulah May (Kelchner) and Marvin W. Frankenfield. He was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran and employed by Bell and Howell for 20 years before retiring in 1989. Prior to that he was employed by Harold’s Shell Service and Easton Electrical Device. He was a member of Safety First and Avona Fire House.
He is survived by his children: Jean Sampson (husband Thomas) of Forks Twp., PA, Lynn Walters (husband Jeffrey) of Palmer Twp., PA, Paul Hulbert (wife Delma) and David Hulbert (wife Joan) of Wilson Borough; brothers: Sherwood Frankenfield and Martin Frankenfield of Forks Twp.; sisters: Frances Thomas of Palmer Twp., Betty Short in SC; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by his wife the former Isabel Schlough in 2012, a brother: Marvin Frankenfield and sister: Bessie Daws.
Services are 10:30 AM Friday (Nov. 16) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, PA with visitation 6 to 7:30 PM Thursday and 10 to 10:30 AM Friday. Interment in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
