“Aunt” Harriet was a lifelong friend of my Grandmother Rose Von der Heiden. When we were kids, Aunt Harriet would come for weekend visits and I remember her being so much fun and willing to be silly with all of us.
Harriet and my Grandmother wrote letters forever and my Grandmother always said, “Harriet is so faithful.” I always took that to mean that Harriet was one of the best friends you could have.
I think the giggling in heaven has increased tenfold with her presence. While you grieve the loss of Harriet here on earth, I have faith that she is on the celebration comittee in heaven with her cherub cheeks and smile and kind heart.
My most sincere condolences to all of you who have loved and lost my beloved “Aunt” Harriet.
