
Howard Jay Josephs, 53, of Upper Nazareth Twp., PA died unexpectedly Friday, December 13, 2013 in his home.
Born: June 16, 1960 in Lower Merion Twp., PA he was a son of the late Jay Josephs and Fern Cooper Josephs Goldberg.
Personal: He was employed by Tursack Printing for the past 8 years; prior to that he owned Pocono Press in Cresco, PA. He was a graduate of R.I.T. and an avid golfer and Philadelphia Eagles fan with season tickets. He also coached boys and girls soccer and basketball.
Memberships: He was the President of the Palmer Kiwanis Club and Past-President of the Tannersville Lions Club, named Lion of the Year in 2004. He served on the Small Business Council of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and was on the Board of the Nazareth Chamber of Commerce. He had also served on the Board of the Graphic Arts Council and was a member of the Palmer Fire Co. Social Club.
Survivors: His wife of 28 years: Sherry (Edinger); daughter: Elizabeth Scott of Nazareth, PA; son: Jeffrey at home; brothers: Steven of State College, PA; Jonathan of Chappaqua, NY; sister: Lisa Audet of Lighthouse Point, FL; step-sister: Sallie Glickman of Philadelphia; granddaughters: Alicia and Alanah; step-mother: Roselee Feinour of Jenkintown, PA; mother-in-law: Shirley Possinger of Stroudsburg; a niece and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother: Scott.
Services: Will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 18) in the Temple Covenant of Peace, 1451 Northampton St., Easton, PA; with a calling period from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Temple; the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.

Howard was someone who always brightened our days at the Eagles games with his humor and energy. I had the pleasure of spending many Sundays over the years with this great man, and we will all miss him dearly. Your family is in our prayers and our deepest condolences for your loss. God Bless.
