Jacqueline I. “Jackie” Smith, 74, of Bangor, died Tuesday, August 12, 2025 in Northampton Post Acute. Born March 5, 1951 in Easton, she was the daughter of Marjorie (Stoner) Bodisch and the late William Gosner. Jackie was known to all as having a heart of gold.
Surviving are her daughter, Katina Brewer; two sisters, Ellen Harrison and Joni Abruzzese; a brother, William Gosner, Jr.; and three grandsons. She was predeceased by her husband, Wally Smith.
Private interment will be held in Church Hill Cemetery, Martins Creek. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.

Oh man, this makes me sad. Jackie was one of the highlights of my client visits to Bangor when I worked for Sr. Life. I even had a key to her apartment back then. She always made our time together, albeit short as it was, a fun time! I think of her every time I use the hot pads or coasters that she crocheted for me. Sending love & hugs to her family as she’s now pain free! RIP crazy lady!!! XXOO
