Janet Ann Ollendorf, 77 of Forks Twp., PA died Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem, PA. Born November 10, 1946 in New York City, New York she was a daughter of the late Antoinette (Rendina) and Enrico Sublime. She was a graduate of St. Nicholas of Tolentino Catholic High School and Dominican University. Janet was a teacher for more than 25 years at the Willow Grove Elementary School in Hackettstown, NJ before retiring.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years: Richard G. Ollendorf; her daughter: Christina Bartow (husband Shawn) of Phillipsburg, NJ; her son: Peter Ollendorf of Stanhope, NJ; 2 sisters: Annette Stark of Delray Beach, FL, Patricia Valentine of Sanford, FL; and 3 grandchildren: Meghan and Katherine Barone and Anthony Ollendorf.
A memorial mass will be held 11 AM, Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 at St. Rocco’s Roman Catholic Church, 6658 School St., Martins Creek, PA followed by a luncheon to celebrate her life at the home of Christina and Shawn to share stories and memories until 5pm. Janet and I taught second grade together and she even covered my maternity leave after she retired. I have lots of memories and lots of stories I will carry with me forever. She was a great mentor, coworker, and friend. My sincere condolences to you all.

Pat, I was so sorry to read that Janet had died. I’m so glad I got to meet her at Bobby and Christina’s wedding. I had such a good time with Janet. I know how close you were. Know that she is with your mom and dad. May Janet Rest in Peace.

Dick and family, we are so sorry to read that your beloved Janet recently passed away. She was always such a kind neighbor to us while we lived at Lafayette Park. Very sorry to hear of Janet’s passing. She was one of my 1st Jazzercise friends about 20 years ago. She was always a pleasure to talk to.
