Janet E. Frankenfield, 83, of Easton, died Sunday, January 22, 2017 in Easton Hospital.
Born July 2, 1933 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Tomino) McCann. She and her husband, Marvin Frankenfield, were married 61 years.
Janet worked at Treher-Montague, Easton for 25 years and retired in 1989. She was a member of St. Paul’s Third Lutheran Church, Palmer Township and The Congregational United Church of Christ, Punta Gorda, Florida.
Surviving with her husband, Marvin, are two daughters, Nancy Allegrezza and her husband, Fred, of Line Lexington, PA and Charlotte Arter and her husband, James, of Hamilton, VA; a son, Charles Frankenfield of Philadelphia; a son-in–law, James Foanio of Largo, FL; and six grandchildren. Her daughter, Susan Foanio and her brother, James McCann, died earlier.
Services will be held 10:30 am Thursday, January 26, 2017 in St. Paul’s Third Lutheran Church, 2561 Newburg Rd., Palmer Township. Interment will be in Easton Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 pm Wednesday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton and from 9:30 am until service time Thursday in the church.

We are so sorry for your loss of Janet. Whenever we saw you down in Florida we were always impressed that Janet was a “fighter” and always kept a positive attitude through her illness.

Marvin and family – I was so sorry to learn of Janet’s passing and will hold you all in prayers. I enjoyed working with Janet at Treher – Montague – she was always cheerful and willing to help everyone. Always remember all the good times you had together. God Bless.
