Janet L. Schnable, 80, of Easton, died Friday, January 10, 2025 in New Eastwood. Born April 30, 1944 in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Robert R. and Doris (Danner) Raph. She graduated from Easton Area High School in 1962 and worked as a bank teller for Santander Bank. Prior to that she worked for Wells Fargo, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Country Miss. She was a member of United Fellowship Lutheran Church, Wilson Borough and the church Senior Center. She was a member of the former St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Easton and enjoyed crafting ceramics.

Surviving are two sons, Franklin Hartman, Sr. and his wife, Traci of Easton and John Hartman and his wife, Patricia of Easton; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson and a brother, Robert Raph.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2025 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until service time on Friday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Hays Cemetery.
