Jay C. Fulmer

Jay Charles Fulmer, 88, of Plainfield Twp., PA died Friday, December 18, 2020 at home. Born December 19, 1931 in Easton, PA he was a son of the late Emma (Wilson) and Harold H. Fulmer. His wife, the former Barbara Ann Wolf died earlier.

Jay was a graduate of Easton High School and served in the Army during the Korean War as a drill instructor. He was employed by the Taylor-Wharton Co. in Easton for many years before retiring and then by Easton Hospital.

He is survived by three children: John Fulmer of Wilson Borough, PA, Linda Yacone (husband Thomas) of Bethlehem Twp., PA, Thomas Fulmer (wife Kimm) of Plainfield Twp., PA; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. His wife and brothers: Norman and Guy died earlier.

    Sorry for your loss of your father. I worked with your father Jay and uncle Norman at Taylor Wharton from 1969 until they closed the doors in 1983. Both of them were people that went out of their way to help me, when I didn’t know what I was doing. I will always be grateful to your dad and uncle for that. As I said sorry for your loss. We lost a great person when he passed.
