As anyone that has ever known John knows, he was the epitome of a friend. We were lucky enough that our friendship spanned over 40 years. Many many a wonderful memory comes from our times together and our hearts are saddened that our friendship will be put on hold until we meet again. John, the Irish blessing
. May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sunshine warm upon your face
And the rains fall soft upon your fields,
    And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of His Hand.

So strange that today 6/24/2024, Steve & i passed the street that John lived on. I told Steve that John was a wonderful man. We dated once & I found him to be a gentleman & a sweet caring young man. At the time, he probably wasn’t aware that he had different feelings between girls & boys. I spoke to him a few years ago & he told me it was a struggle for him to acknowledge his feelings. I told him to be proud of the man he was. May God keep John safe & happy he no longer has doubts about his life. Carol

I only knew John as a fellow Red Rover as he tracked me down one day as I was walking with my mom Bev at Arden Courts. I was wearing an Easton sweatshirt. I would check in on him when I visited mom and then a few times since she passed. He would be sleeping. There is no doubt he is with His maker and made whole again.
Thanks for the visits John when I could share my love for the rovers with you and their marching band.
