John Richard Mills, Sr., 97 of Easton, PA died Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Alexandria Manor, Nazareth, PA. Born December 17, 1925 in Easton, he was a son of the late Walter and Pearl (Frankenfield) Mills. He was a graduate of Easton High School. John was a truck driver most of his life and a farmer in his early years. He was a former member of several auto clubs. He also loved history and was of the Lutheran faith.
John is survived by his wife of 74 years, Helen (Kreps) Mills; 3 sons: John Mills, Jr. (wife Carin) of Forks Twp., PA, Richard Mills of Saylorsburg, PA, James Mills (wife Cynthia) of Warrenton, VA; 4 grandchildren: Andrew, Richard, Virginia, Marianne and a soon to be great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by his brother Robert.
