Our hearts are stricken with grief for the entire Laubach family. When life presents circumstances that we cannot comprehend, we can depend on an intelligence much higher than ours to eventually show us that God can bring good out of even the most dire situation. As we hold you in prayer, for God to be a palpable presence, guide and comfort in this time of loss, may I also encourage you with Proverbs 3:5-8 “Trust in The Lord with all your heart and don’t depend on your own understanding; seek His will in all you do and He will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear The Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.”

We knew Jon for twenty years. As our paths crossed and faded, he remained a great person. He will forever remain in our hearts, Now an angel, we take comfort in knowing that he is looking down on and protecting us all from above. We will miss you.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the entire Laubach family. We are saddened to hear of Jon’s sudden and tragic passing from this earth. May you realize he is at peace, pain free and in a better place as we all are left here with a void in our hearts.
I will miss him passing our house with his headphones on, heading in and out for his daily walks ‘with a purpose’. Also, I will miss our rants as we would commiserate on our displeasure with modern parenting.
Gretchen if there is anything we can do, please don’t hesitate to lift the phone or open the window and yell.

I am so saddened to hear of Jon’s passing. He was one of the good guys in the advertising world. A man of morals, intelligence and integrity. He taught me many things that helped me in my professional life. I will be forever grateful that I had the honor of knowing him. I am truly sorry he has left us way too soon. My thoughts go out to his family. Please know he will be missed.

I was hired at the same time as Jon this summer, so we were trained together and I got to learn about his life. I know Jon wanted nothing more than to provide for his family. He was a really nice guy and I was very sad to learn of his death last week. I feel for his wife and young children, and hope they get through this time with lots of help from family and friends. Wish I would have reached out to Jon the other week when I was wondering how he was doing. If there is anything I can do to help, please allow his family to reach out to me. So sorry for your loss.

My sincere thoughts and prayers are with the entire Laubach family. Elliot is a student of mine and when I heard about this my heart sank. I did not know Jonathon personally but as a teacher I have experienced the love and devotion of a child that was raised by Jonathon and Gretchen Laubach. Elliot is an incredible young man. An extremely talented, respectful, humble, young person who would do anything for anyone. Children often take on the traits of their parents and through Elliot I know that Jonathon must have been one very special person. My heart continues to go out to Elliot and his entire family.
