Dear Gerber Family.
It is with a heavy heart we learn of this news. Joe was a great friend and neighbor. I will miss our common interest about the Penn State football team we both enjoyed watching and discussing after. Joe was a great guy. Friendly and most approachable person. Always willing to lend a hand while I was not home, traveling for work.
May he rest in peace. He will be missed.
Warmest and Sincere Regards,
The Welty Family

I was so sorry to read of Joe’s passing.
I remember him so well from years ago seeing him sitting in his chair, reading the paper. He was always so pleasant… and such a great smile!!
Much love

Dear Mrs Gerber and family,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of Mr Gerber. He was one of my favorite teachers. His geography class was stimulating and fun. We also worked together on student council at Wilson. I’m so glad that I got to know him. Again you have my sympathy.
