Josephine Mondillo of Palmer Twp., PA died Monday, March 3, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus. Born August 23, 1930 in Easton, PA. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Greco) Tita. She was a 1948 graduate of Easton High School and a graduate of Churchman’s Business School. She was employed by various garment industries in the area, including A&H Sportswear. Josephine loved playing cards with family and friends. She loved big band music and dancing. She was doing the Jitter Bug in her 90’s! Her greatest joy in her life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The smile never left her face when the grandchildren and great grandchildren were around. She taught us all the meaning of unconditional love.

Mondillo, Jr. of Palmer Twp., PA, Tina Marie Lindenmoyer and husband Michael of Palmer Twp., PA, Frank J. Her nieces, Cathleen, Mary Jo and their families also played a joyful part in her life as she loved spending holidays together. She was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Crisafulli, in 2004.

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Easton and had great faith and thanked the Lord daily for her blessings. We were all blessed to have her in our lives.  Mass will be celebrated 1 PM Friday, March 7 in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 832 Lehigh St., Easton with a calling period from 12:30 to 1 PM. It is with a heavy heart that we were informed of the passing of Josephine Mondillo. As close friends of the Mondillo family who were our neighbors for many years. We can only hope that everyone will remember her and the love and hospitality that she gave to so many of us. She was always someone who filled one’s day with joy, hope, love and the occasional comic turn. Along with her husband Jim and their children; Vince, Tina, and Frank they were like a second family to us. Another home. I remember sharing many wonderful moments and family gatherings over the years as I was growing up and later as well. And they were also there when we lost our own parents, Nick and Anthoula. An exemplary woman who will not be forgotten and who will live on long after her passing in the hearts of everyone she touched during her life but most of all in her husband, children and grandchildren! Let us celebrate this life and be exceedingly grateful for all that she has given us.

Our deepest condolences and best wishes to the family.
