Leon A. Seip

Leon Albert Seip, 88 of Upper Nazareth Twp., PA passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Northampton Post Acute, Easton. He was the loving husband of Beverly (Hewett) Seip for 63 years. Born November 19, 1936 in Lower Nazareth Twp., he was a son of the late Earl V. and Hilda (DeLong) Seip. Leon was a 1954 graduate of Nazareth High School and served in the Navy for four years. He worked at the Northampton Memorial Shrine as Director of Grounds for 58 years. For many years, he was Secretary of the lower Nazareth Rod & Gun Club, member of Hecktown Fire Co. and served on the Church Council for Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hecktown. Leon enjoyed bowling as a hobby and hunting with his brothers and friends.

In addition to his wife, Beverly, Leon will be deeply missed by his sons: Todd L. Seip and wife Jodi of Danville, PA, Scott A. Seip and wife Stacy of Allegany, NY; his daughter: Jill A. Nunamaker of Bethlehem, PA; and three grandchildren: Alexa and Olivia Nunamaker and William Seip. He was predeceased by his brothers: Ernest, Sterling and Earl Seip and his sister Mae Fehnel.

Graveside services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at the Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Rd., Easton. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.
