Obituaries

Letitia M. Yaworski, 97, of Palmer Township, died Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in Gracedale.

Born January 2, 1923 in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Smiraglia) Pecora. Her husband, Michael J. Yaworski died in 2013.

Letitia worked at the Vocational-Technical School. She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church and was a volunteer at Easton Hospital and the St. Francis Retreat House.

Surviving are a son, Michael Yaworski; two daughters, Letitia Kirk and Donna Hepp; two brothers, Joseph Pecora and Louis Pecora, Jr.; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A brother, Michael Pecora and a sister, Connie Petrovich died earlier.

Services will be private. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.
