Livio F. “Lee” Loccarini, 94 of Palmer Twp., PA died Friday, August 4, 2023 at home. Born July 28, 1929 in Easton, PA he was a son of the late Devilia (Rossetti) and Alfred Loccarini. He was a graduate of Easton High School and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Lee retired from Bethlehem Steel after more than 30 years. Prior to that he was a self-employed auto body mechanic and helped with his father’s taxi company, Diamond Taxi. He was a member of the American Legion and life member of the Stockertown Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by 2 sons: Terry Loccarini (wife Lori), Darin Loccarini; a daughter: Janel Gadomski; 4 grandchildren: Dylan, Marisa, Samantha and Nicholas; and 4 great-grandchildren: Dani, Indy, Sebastian and Charlotte. He was predeceased by his wife: Charlotte (Mack) Loccarini in 2019 and his brother: Alfred Loccarini.
Graveside services with military honors will be held 2 PM Thursday (Aug. 10) at Greenwood Cemetery, 22 Atlas Road, Northampton (Howertown), PA. I knew Lee for many years from his Pike County cabin. We visited each other’s cabins during hunting season. He was a great hunter and a friend. Al Tompkins. Sap Swamp Hunting Camp
