Lorraine Julia Parks, 67, of Palmer Township, formerly of Hillsborough, NJ, died Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Somerset, NJ. Born May 10, 1954 in Newark, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Bernard “Ben” and Agnes (Penn) Blaney. Her husband, Edward L. Parks died in 2018.
She taught elementary school at St. Ann Catholic Church, Raritan, NJ and worked at Coleman Auto Group, Lawrenceville, NJ. She retired in 2004. She received a bachelor’s degree in education from Seton Hall University in 1976 and was a volunteer for the Easton Area Democratic Committee.
Surviving are her daughter, Anna C. Parks and her husband, Dave; two sisters, Carol Ann Rittman and Frances Peebles; a brother-in-law, David Parks; and a niece, Christine Peebles.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.
