Dear Billiard and Krisukas families,
I was so sorry to hear the sad news about Marianne, and I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
I have fond memories of growing up on Ridgewood Road where I always thought of Marianne as sort of a leader of the “big kids.” (There were 2 groups in our neighborhood: you were either a “big kid” or a “little kid.”) She always seemed wise beyond her years. We played games like kickball or wiffle ball in the Melick’s yard and everyone joined in….if you couldn’t run, no problem, you would be assigned a “little kid” to run the bases for you. I believe she also played a big part in our creative education, i.e. neighborhood production of “The Elves and the Shoemaker.” I will remember Marianne as a kind, talented and good person with a nice sense of humor.
I never pass by Arndt’s Road without thinking of her! Her love will remain with you all and may your many memories of her comfort you always.
