Mary Jane Sampson, 93, formerly of Easton, died Thursday, November 20, 2025 in Atria, Bethlehem. Born June 17, 1932 in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Hahn and Jennie Mae (Scott) Sweeny. She and her husband, James L. Sampson were married over 75 years.
Mary owned and operated ceramic studios in Easton and Stockertown. She also worked at Joseph’s Men’s Store, Easton.
Surviving with her husband, James, are a son, James Sampson; two daughters, Nancy Reilly and Debby Messer; a sister, Mary Coffin; six grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Michael Sampson and Scott Sampson.
Services will be private. Interment will be in Easton Cemetery. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.

Debby, So sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. It’s hard to lose a parent but at least yours lived long lives and were able to share in a long marriage. I always asked Linda about them, how they were doing. Accept my deepest sympathy for you as well as your Dad.
