Mary L. Andrews

Mary Louise Andrews, 78, of Nazareth, PA, died Sunday, September 20, 2020, after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Paul E. “Dewey” Andrews, Sr. to whom she was married for 26 years before his passing in 1986. Born in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late James and Verna (Slingland) McAuliffe. She graduated from Easton High School in 1960 and worked many jobs throughout her life including: Ingersoll Rand, Martin Guitar, and M&M Mars before retiring from Organon. Mary loved shopping, crafting, playing games on her computer, and chatting with her friends and family. She had a passion for all things Elvis, some might even say…a crush. Each day began with listening to Elvis songs, which always put a smile on her face, she would often remark to her son, Jimmy, “Isn’t he handsome?”

Mary is survived by her son: Jimmy and his partner Kelley of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren: Ryan, Jacob, Jade and Zachary, all of Richmond, VA; her siblings: Joan Murphy and Joe McAuliffe of Wilson Boro, PA, Beverly Wells of Gilbert, PA; and many other loving friends and family members who will miss her dearly. In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her step-son: Paul, her son: Michael; her brothers: Jim, Bill and Pud McAuliffe, sister: Shirley Allen; and niece: Sharon Fulmer.

Graveside services are 2 PM Friday (Sept. 25) at Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road, Easton, with a calling period from 12:30 to 1:30 PM in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton.
