Michael E. Flory

Michael E. Flory, 74 of Wilson Borough, PA died Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at New Eastwood Rehabilitation Center. Born June 21, 1947 in Easton, PA he was the son of the late George and Ruby (Umholtz) Flory. He was a 1965 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and graduate of the Warren County Vocational Technical Institute. Mike was employed by Brown-Daub from 1965 to 1988 as a Master Technician and then by the Northampton Community College as an Assistant Professor from 1988 to 2000. He was a member of Bethel Memorial Baptist Church, Palmer Twp.

Mike is survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Florence Kutzler; 2 children: Michelle Parent (husband Steve) of Bethlehem, PA and Mark Flory (wife Jennifer) of Keller, TX; and 5 grandchildren: Josh, Emily, Sabrina, Jase and Paige.

Services are 11 AM Wednesday (June 1) in Bethel Memorial Baptist Church, 715 Chestnut Lane, Easton, PA with visitation from 10 to 11 AM. Interment is in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements.

    I am sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. We worked together at Northampton Community College for 12 years until he had to leave for medical reasons. He was a great guy and possessed so much knowledge about his profession.

    Dear Florence and family,
    I am very sorry to learn about Mike’s passing.
    I had the privilege to be a friend and colleague while at Northampton CC. He was a talented and dedicated instructor who cared deeply for his students. I am so greatfull to have had him in my life. My sincere condolences.

    Dad,
    It has been 8 months since you died. My life feels so empty sometimes. My memories of you and your love for me will live forever in my heart and mind. You were such a Godly man and just a wonderful person. I know you are in Heaven now walking with God and I will see you again one day. Love you always!!
