Nicolas Charles “Nino” Makkas, 20 of Palmer Twp., PA died Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at home. Born July 26, 2000 in Phillipsburg, NJ he was a son of Nick P. Makkas with whom he resided and Denise (Kolb) Makkas of Easton. He was a 2018 graduate of Easton High School and an avid dirt bike enthusiast. He loved motorcycles, fast cars and life.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his best friend and brother forever: Demitri; his sisters: Marisa and Gabriella; grandparents: Gus Makkas and Marie Jones; aunts: Maria Makkas and Michele Andre; uncles: Rommie (wife Kathy) Stricklin and Charles L. Kolb; niece: Layla; cousins, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents: Jean Makkas and Charles Kolb, great-grandparents: Rose and Al DellaSala and Helen Pepinger; and uncles: George Makkas and Legon Stricklin.
Services are 11 AM Tuesday July 27) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, with visitation 4 to 7 PM Monday and 10 to 11 AM Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment will be private at Washington Cemetery, Washington, NJ. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.

As long as I live I will love and cherish Nicolas. I pray the day I die he will be there to greet me. Denise, my sister I pray that you can get thru day by day and be reunited with your son some day. Nicky I pray that you will follow what Nicolas wanted for you, to be happy, to go to Greece and make him proud. Nino, we still can’t believe that ur gone, this is so hard to take in! I haven’t seen Bryan like this is a long time.
