Norman R. Rothrock, Sr.

Norman R. Rothrock, Sr. 94, of Palmer Township died Saturday, October 15, 2011 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Langhorne, PA.

Born: September 4, 1917 in Bangor, he was a son of the late Samuel and Ruth (Houck) Rothrock.

Personal: His wife, the former Marion B. Weiland died in 2002.  He was a self-employed house painter in the Easton area and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Easton.

Survivors: two sons, Norman R. Rothrock, Jr. of Levittown, PA and David R. Rothrock of Jersey Shore, PA; a sister, Marion Moyer; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A sister, Arlene Jarrell-Franco died earlier.

Services: 11:00 am Tuesday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. Call from 10:00 am until service time Tuesday in the funeral home.

Memorials: Calvary United Methodist Church, 4411 Green Pond Rd., Easton, PA 18045.

    The staff at Tic-Toc Restaurant would like to send our deepest sympathies to your family for the loss of Norman. We here at the restaurant will miss Norman’s upbeat mood he brought to some of the staff and some of the fellow customers around him at the restaurant.

    My deepest sympathies to the Rothrock family at this time of loss. Norman was a
    good neighbor over the course of 60+ years and we never lost touch over time. May you know Gods peace and comfort now and in the days ahead.
