Hope L. Greffe, 91 of Drums, PA formerly of Easton, PA died Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Mountaintop Care Center. Born October 13, 1927 in Easton, PA she was a daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Kline) Smith. She had been employed by the Crayola Company for 22 years before retiring. Hope was a lifetime member of Arndt’s Lutheran Church and loved to bowl with her bowling league.

She is survived by her children: Marcha Smull with whom she resided, Alfred Greffe and his wife Leslie of Florida; 6 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her sisters: Betty Dietz, Jane Francis and brother: John Smith, Jr. died earlier.

Services are 11:00 AM Tuesday (Mar. 19) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, with visitation 10 to 11 AM. Interment is in Arndt’s Cemetery, Forks Twp., PA.

June A. Bellew, 92 of Easton, PA died Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at home. Born April 29, 1926 in Easton she was a daughter of the late Harold and Irene (Hermany) Laros. Her husband Joseph A. Bellew died in 1976. June was a Registered Nurse.

She is survived by her 6 children: Kathleen Tippins, Kevin Bellew, Terese Bellew all of Easton, Maureen Moroney Russen of Bethlehem, PA, Louise Birmingham of West Chester, PA, Jeanette Duggan of Lake Placid, NY; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Interment services were held on August 29, 2019 in Long Island National Cemetery. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements.

Jocelyn Marin, 31, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019.

Born September 27, 1987 in Jersey City, NJ, she was a daughter of Lina Faberlle.

Surviving with her mother, Lina, are her sisters, Carolyn Hernandez and Shirlyn Ramos and her grandparents, Jose Marin and Luz Santiago.

Betty C. Rehrig, 91 of Bethlehem Twp., PA died Sunday, March 10, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born August 23, 1927 in Bethlehem Twp., PA she was a daughter of the late William and Dorothy Moser. Her husband Harry C. Rehrig died in Jan. of 1999. She was a graduate of Boyer’s Single Room Schoolhouse in Bethlehem Twp. and Wilson High School Class of 1945. She had been employed by the Trio Togs Garment Co. in Bethlehem Twp. and the Betty Lee Dress Co. in Easton for many years. Betty was a member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Palmer Twp., the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and life member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Easton.

She is survived by two sons: Harry Rehrig, Jr. and his wife Maria of Warner Robins, GA, Randy Rehrig of Emmaus, PA; a sister: Evelyn Hardy and grandson: Christopher Rehrig. Her husband: Harry and sister: Eleanor Madura died earlier.

Services are 2 PM Saturday (Mar. 16) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton with visitation from 1 to 2 PM. Interment is in Northampton Memorial Shrine.

Adele Brewer, 90, of Forks Township, died Sunday, March 10, 2019.

Born June 16, 1928 in Harmony, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Luigi and Lucia (Gregory) Colombo. She and her husband, Burton E. Brewer were married 65 years.

Adele attended Belvidere High School and retired from OPT Industries, Phillipsburg. She was a member of the Women’s Industrial Softball League and was an avid Iron Pigs and Phillies fan. She loved gardening and enjoyed her flower garden.

Surviving with her husband, Burton, are her children, Burt Brewer, Darlene Yost, Dolores Dailey and Theresa Wells, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 14, 2019 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. A visitation will be held from 7:00 pm until service time on Thursday in the funeral home.

Sharlene L. Malin, 52, of Long Pond, died Sunday, March 10, 2019. Born January 3, 1967 in Elizabeth, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Joan (Fietzinger) Teske. She and her husband, Anthony G. Malin, were married 34 years.

She attended Wilson High School and was a nurse’s aide for Dr. Edward Davis in Palmer Township.

Surviving with her husband, Anthony, are her children, Tony, Cody and Andrea Malin and Heather Vokes; 3 siblings and 4 grandchildren.

Services will be held at Noon on Monday, March 18, 2019 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St, Easton. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 pm on Sunday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Forks Cemetery.
