Frank F. Beam

Frank F. Beam, 79, of Easton, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in Easton Hospital.

He was born April 10, 1937 in Nazareth.  His wife, Shirley M. (Ahart) Beam died in 2010.

Frank was a commercial roofer and a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Easton.

Surviving are three daughters, Sherri Ahart-Jones, Sandra Cann and Justine Ciulla; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.  Three sons, Frank Beam, Richard Beam and Keith Ahart, Sr. died earlier.

Services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in Christ United Methodist Church, 400 W. Berwick St., Easton.  Interment will be in South Easton Cemetery.  The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements. Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.

Michael J. “Buddah” Beaman

Michael J. “Buddah” Beaman, 48, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in Temple University Hospital.

Born November 18, 1968 in Flemington, NJ, he as a son of Barbara (Klein) Miller of Phillipsburg, NJ and the late David C. Beaman.

Surviving with his mother, Barbara, are his children, Michael Beaman, Jr., Dylan Beaman and Megan Gild; his siblings, Joseph Beaman and David Beaman, Jr. and Katherine Kennedy; and a grandson.

William R. Zimmerman

William R. Zimmerman, 95, of West Easton, died Saturday, December 17, 2016 in Easton Hospital.

Born March 27, 1921 in Easton, he was a son of the late William R. Zimmerman, Sr., and Anna (Brotzman) Zimmerman.

He was a mechanic and bus driver for Jennings Transportation.  He served in the Army during WWII and was a Pearl Harbor survivor.  He was also a member of VFW Post 4366, Nazareth.

Surviving are his brothers, Richard Zimmerman and Robert Zimmerman of Easton.  His sister, Virginia Edwards died earlier.

Services with Military Honors will be held 1:30 pm Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton.  A visitation will be held 6:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.

John T. “Jack” Fatzinger, III

John T. “Jack” Fatzinger, III, 81, of Palmer Township, formerly of Stockertown, died Thursday, December 15, 2016 in ManorCare, Old Orchard.

Born January 22, 1935 in Germantown, PA, he was a son of the late John T. and Dorothy (Young) Fatzinger.  His wife, Wilma A. (Moser) Fatzinger died in 2012.

Jack was a self-employed artist, draftsman and architect and worked for East Penn Engineering Co. and Buckl & Jankowski Architects. He was a graduate of Lansdale High School and Moravian College.  He also served on the Stockertown Borough Council.

Surviving are a daughter, Kim Ravese and her husband, Bob, of Palmer Township; a son, Bill Fatzinger and his wife, Lisa, of Nashville, TN; a sister, Diane Olson of Ocean Grove, NJ and six grandchildren, Alissa, Joe, Mike and Nick Ravese and Billy and Lauren Fatzinger.

Services will be held 10:30 am Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton.  A visitation will be held 4:00 to 5:30 pm Monday in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.

Edward F. Klemka

Edward F. Klemka

Edward F. Klemka, 87 of Forks Twp., PA died Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at ManorCare Health Services, Easton.  Born July 16, 1929 in Phillipsburg, NJ he was a son of the late Ella (Powers) and Leo Klemka.

A 1947 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, he served in the Navy during the Korean War. He had been employed by Ingersoll Rand for 44 years before retiring in 1991 and had also worked at Speck Plastics, Inc.  Ed was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church, Forks Twp. and was their custodian for 11 years following his retirement. He was a member of the Tatamy Social Club, the Fleas Club and Brown & Lynch Post #9, American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Shirley (Jennings) Klemka; children: Alan Klemka and his wife Joan of Lehighton, PA, Kathleen Yarnell and her husband Robert of Phillipsburg, NJ; step-son: David William Stem of Stem, NC; brothers: Jack Klemka in FL, Thomas Klemka of Lehighton; sister: Marie Rafter of Upper Mt. Bethel Twp., PA; 5 grandchildren including Jason Stem and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife:Loretta (Ferris) Klemka; a step-son: Charles Stem; 2 grandchildren: David Michael Stem, Annamarie Stem; and brothers: Leo, Francis and James Klemka.

Services are 11 AM Monday, Dec. 19 in Faith Lutheran Church, 2012 Sullivan Trail, Easton, PA with visitation 10 to 11 AM in the church;  the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements.  Interment is in Northampton Memorial Shrine.

Scott William MacIntosh

Scott W. MacIntosh

Scott William MacIntosh, 35 of Forks Twp., PA formerly of Venice, FL passed away Friday, December 9, 2016. Born October 23, 1981 in Westwood, NJ he was a son of the late Douglas and Anne (Post) MacIntosh. He was a 2000 graduate of Venice High School in Venice, FL. He excelled in his position as a personal body guard and as security at Seahawks Stadium. As a teen he enjoyed working and building lifetime friendships at Sharky’s in Florida. He also loved volunteering at animal and homeless shelters. Scott lived for creating unique culinary recipes to share, time with family and friends, and fitness.  He touched many lives with his sincere friendship, warm smile and sense of humor. His kind soul will forever be treasured in the hearts of his loving family.

He was the beloved brother of three surviving sisters: Tammy Frasca and her husband Jim of Forks Twp., PA, Virginia Brinton and her husband Mark of Charlotte, NC, Grace Gillen and her husband Bill of Mansfield, TX; a brother: Douglas MacIntosh of Astoria, NY; a loving uncle to Ryan, Joseph and Kaitlyn, William and Michael and will be missed by his Aunt Lorraine Membry, his cousin Laura Reeves and her husband Kevin and their daughter Amanda.

Services are 10 AM Wednesday, Dec. 14 in Trinity Episcopal Church, 234 Spring Garden St., Easton, PA with a calling period 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM Tuesday, Dec. 13 in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, PA. Interment is in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.

Bruce D. Volkert

Bruce D. Volkert, 59, of West Easton, died Friday, December 9, 2016 in his home.

Born April 4, 1957 in Easton, he was a son of the late Glenn G. and Shirley (Foose) Volkert.

He was a truck driver for Exel Logistics.

Surviving are his son, Kyle, girlfriend, Judy Werner, sisters, Glenda Martin and Nancy Hutchison.

Joseph C. Ullery

Joseph “Joe” C. Ullery, age 75, of The Villages, FL passed away at his residence on Friday, December 09, 2016. He was born in Johnstown, PA on November 13, 1941. Joe attended Potomac State University in W. Virginia. He served in the US Marines. After his military service Joe started to work with the Department of Defense as an Analyst. He retired after 33 years of service. Then he worked for 10 years as a substitute teacher in Annapolis, MD. Joe enjoyed golfing, swimming and target shooting. He was an avid fisherman in The Keys and Montana. Joe especially liked spending time with his children and grandchildren in Deep Creek Lake, MD and taking his pet dog Heidi on golf cart rides. He moved to The Villages in 2006.

He is survived by his wife Laurie Vanderbilt Ullery; children Todd Joseph Ullery and his wife Marilyn of Hagerstown, MD and Scott Anthony Ullery and his wife Anita of Glen Burnie, MD; grandchildren Jason, Michaela, Joseph, Cori, David and Sarah; great grandchildren Joseph, Autumn, Marshall, AJ and Nicco. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph H. and Jesse M. Ullery.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, June 10, 2017 in Riegelsville Cemetery.  The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements.
