Jose G. Sanabria, 90 of Easton, PA died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at ManorCare Health Services, Easton. Born January 10, 1926 in Santo Domingo Las Villas, Cuba he was a son of the late Andres and Lorenza Sanabria. He had been a jeweler in New York City for many years before retiring and then worked for Liz Claiborne in New Jersey.

He is survived by a step-son, niece and nephews. His wife Olga died earlier.

Anne M. Ballantine, 79, of Phillipsburg, died Friday, November 25, 2016 in Easton Hospital.

Born April 17, 1937 in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Glaccum) Briscoe.

Surviving are two daughters, Leslie Ballantine and Bridget Ballantine, a son, Arthur Golej and a grandson.

Michael E. Davis

November 21, 2016

Michael Edward Davis, 25 of Palmer Twp., PA died Monday, November 21, 2016 at Easton Hospital. Born June 17, 1991 in Phillipsburg, NJ he was a son of Noreen (Caffrey) and Russell R. Davis with whom he resided.

He graduated from Easton High School in 2009 where he played football, lacrosse and was in the band and orchestra. He graduated from Northampton Community College in 2013 and received a degree in criminal justice from Lock Haven University in 2015. Michael was a member of Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society. He was employed by the Verizon Store in Forks Twp. and prior to that by Little Caesars in Palmer Twp.

In addition to his parents, Noreen and Russell, he is survived by a brother: Russell C. “Rusty” Davis of Bethlehem, PA; a sister: Sarah Garrecht and her partner Jonas Woodring of Palmer Twp.; half-sister: AnnMarie Vaughn of Forks Twp., PA; grandparents: Charles R. Caffrey and Caroline Maddock both of Phillipsburg, NJ; 2 nieces: Jenna and Myah and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held 12 PM Tuesday, (Nov. 29) in First Moravian Church, 225 N. 10th St., Easton, with a calling period 4 PM to 7 PM Monday (Nov. 28) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton.

Therese Wagner, 102, of Easton, died Monday, November 21, 2016 in ManorCare, Palmer Township.

Born October 22, 1914 in Fiume, Austria-Hungary, she was a daughter of the late Sandor and Terez (Horvath) Voros. Her husband, Fred A. Wagner died in 2005.

She was a seamstress for Strongwear Pants, Easton for many years and a former member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, Palmer Township.

She is survived by her son, Ernest Wagner of Bethlehem. Her son, Victor Wagner, died in 2006.

Rachel M. Campo, 22 of Wilson Borough, PA died Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Pocono Medical Center. Born May 16, 1994 she was a daughter of Kimberly Primi with whom she resided and Joseph Campo of Easton, PA.

She had been employed by Boscov’s and Radio Shack in Easton. Rachel loved to read, the beach, her children and Christmas. She also loved music and dancing.

She is survived by her parents; 2 children: Michael and Jordan; a brother: Brendan Campo, a sister: Jade Coons; and grandparents: Robert and Laura Oppen.

A Memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, Nov. 26 in New Creation United Church of Christ, 3730 Nicholas St., Palmer with a calling period from 10 to 11 AM.

Helen E. Billman, 86 formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus. Born September 24, 1930 in Oxford, NJ she was a daughter of the late Victor and Julia (Klinko) Grbich, Sr. A graduate of Phillipsburg High School she was employed by Gracedale in Nazareth for 25 years before retiring.

She is survived by 4 daughters: Karen Bailey and husband Herbert, Julie Tarbell and husband Brian, Suzanne Bradford all of Easton, Sherry Huskey and husband Craymon of Allentown; sisters: Margaret Grbich, Shirley Lance; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; nieces and nephews. Her husband John and sons: Donald, Russell and Brian all died earlier.

Services are 2:30 pm Tuesday, (Nov. 22) in Epworth United Methodist Church, 3245 Oakland Rd., Bethlehem, PA, with visitation 1:30 to 2:30 pm in the church; the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements. Interment is in Northampton Memorial Shrine.

Patrick Flanagan

Patrick Flanagan, 28 of Wilson Borough, died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital following a vehicle accident in Bethlehem Twp. Born March 7, 1988 in East Stroudsburg, PA he was a son of Kathleen (Monahan) and Dudd K. Flanagan, II with whom he resided. He was a 2006 graduate of Wilson High School and an auto body tech graduate of CIT. He had been employed by Gerber Collision and Glass for several years. Patrick was a member of the Avona Club, a Life Scout and avid hunter and outdoorsman who loved his motorcycle and car.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers: Dudd “DK”, III and Ryan; grandparents: Anthony Monaghan and Shirley Adams and nephew: Bradley Blue.

Visitation is 6 PM to 8 PM Tuesday (Nov. 22) in the Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton. Services are private.

Richard L. Marquez, 69, of Easton, died Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in Easton Hospital.

Born May 7, 1947 in Astoria, Queens, NY, he was a son of the late Louis and Camille (Macey) Marquez.

He was a truck driver and served in the Marines during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Marquez, a daughter, Jeanine O’Malley, grandchildren, Samantha and Christopher O’Malley, step-children, Stacy and Tanya and a special friend, Stephanie Ruggiero.
