Gene A. Bradley

October 29, 2023

Gene A. Bradley

It is with heavy hearts and tearful eyes that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, Gene A. Bradley, 82. He was born on October 12, 1941 in Arlington, Iowa to the late Frank and Eva (Schrock) Bradley and departed our world on October 29, 2023. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Gene Bradley was a man of many passions, each of which added unique vibrancy and life to the world and the people around him. He had an unwavering love for collecting model cars, a hobby that brought joy and satisfaction to his days. His meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship were evident in the cars he collected, a testament to his patience for others. With his camera in hand, he shared the importance of photography and creating a lifetime of memories with his family and friends. The countless moments of holidays past, to casual trips over the summer to Seaside Heights, remain on the minds of all of his loved ones.

Beyond his hobbies, Gene Bradley was drafted into the Vietnam War and continued his military service until he retired. He traveled the world extensively, especially enjoying time on a US Base in Germany. He frequently discussed his time there. He retired as a Master Sergeant, and often spoke highly of the brave men and women who served with him. True to his unselfish nature, he rarely spoke of his own accolades.

Above all else, Gene Bradley treasured his time with family above all else. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and doting grandfather. He created a warm and inviting home where anybody would feel welcome. His presence brought laughter and comfort, and his memory will continue to do so. Gene Bradley touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, genuine spirit, and compassion. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the wonderful life he lived and the love he shared. In our hearts, he will remain forever, and in the memories we hold dear, his legacy will live on. As we say our goodbyes, please let us remember the smiles, laughter, and love he brought into our lives.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bep Le Bradley, son: Tony Le of Easton; daughter-in-law: Yen Do; grandchildren: Phuong Le and Cindy Le; and great-granddaughter: Raelynn Beattie.

Services will be held 11 AM Thursday (Nov. 9) at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Offer online condolences at www.ashtonfuneralhome.com.
